Criminal Defense Attorney 678-407-9300

Question: I know that two prosecuting attorney can be assigned to one case but only one can represent. If the none representing attorney speaks during proceedings (i.e. during sentencing recommendation) is there cause to have his recommendation thrown out because the representing attorney did not inform the court of his dismissal and asking court to turn representation over to him?

Answer: First, 10 attorneys can be assigned to one case. The only thing that cannot happen is 1 attorney do part of a closing and a different attorney complete the closing remarks. Other than the rules concerning closing, there is no law limiting the number of ADA that are working on a case. You are really scratching the bottom of the barrel with that question.
