Criminal Defense Attorney 678-407-9300

Question: I got caught switching price tags on 4 items and not ringing up 3 at a Wal-Mart. I was arrested there. I'm from Florida and will make my court date.. this is my first ever offense.. it's a misdemeanor well under 500.. my arrest warrant was wrong.. the last who caught me left and another one typed it.. What am I facing as I'm fines and jail since I never been arrested? Also could I have this taken off my record or have adjudication with held?

Answer: The arrest warrant was wrong? How do you know? Was it materially wrong, such that the case will be dismissed? How would you know that? What you are facing is a function of how you approach the case. IF the warrant is wrong challenge everything, and deal with jail at the end of the challenge, IF the challenge is unsuccessful. OR look for a resolution where you accept responsibility, and get a relatively light sentence. You probably need to sit down with an attorney
